I'm considering picking up 2 or 3 new mechs from the sale found here. I already have: 5 Marauder IIC variants. 3 Arctic Cheetahs 2 Timberwolves (don't really need a 3rd) Any recommendations for the other Clan Mechs in the sale? I'll likely need to sell off a few of my Mad II-Cs and "free" mechs for more mechbays. Thanks |

Well you gotta have a KDK-3. Its considered the best assault there is. Also the Hunchback 2C are really good medium mechs. My favorite build is 2 UAC10 plus 2 ML. They also do laservom really well. But Nova is the king of medium lasers. So you got several good options here. I'm trying out the Huntsman which I have a real problem with but the do pack a punch.

Pretty much everything in the sale is good. If you have the C-bills, I would recommend a Kodiak 3 as well, plus a Night Gyr and a Nova (assuming you want all different chassis).
The Kodiak 3 is basically our best assault, the Night Gyr is a pocket assault that ignores environmental heat modifiers (and thus treats hot/cold maps as heat neutral), and the Nova is strong medium (as is the Hunchback IIC). If you are short on funds (particularly after buying a Kodiak), the Jenner IIC "prime" is a great SRM brawler. Another consideration is that you will basically need to buy new engines for the Hunchback and Jenner, so they are not as cheap as you might think first glance. The Kodiak can rock its standard engine just fine, though most people downgrade it several notches.
