Calling all pilots!
The newly created Bravo Trinary is looking for dedicated Star Commanders and Mechwarriors to fill its ranks! This trinary will train hard, and fight harder to bring glory to the 79th. The mission of this Trinary is to form a disciplined, respectful unit that can have fun in Bravo Drops, but easily slip into an Alpha-level mindset when our leadership puts out a Call-To-Arms.
If you are in charge of a Star and are interested in bringing it into the ranks of Bravo Trinary, please express your interest below. If you are a Star Commander with no Star, and are interested in forming one for this trinary, get with me and we'll discuss your command interests, and what I expect of my Star Commanders.
The traits I am looking for in my pilots are:
-Maturity. We are Warriors. Act like it. Treat your fellow Warriors with respect at all times.
-Willingness to Cooperate. I want people that can cooperate with each other and follow orders given by Command or those assigned to lead by command. If you're not a team player, I don't want you.
-Disciplined. Comms discipline during drops is a must. Once combat is initiated, battle calls and intel are what should be passing over comms.
-Dedication. If you one of my Commanders, I will expect things of you to further this Trinary. I have done these things myself, and continue to do so, more so now that I am forming a Trinary. I expect the same level of dedication from my Star Commanders.
-Consistent Attendance. I do not want burnout leadership. If your idea in this unit is to achieve a rank, then call it quits and disappear because you achieved what you wanted, I dont want you. If you're in command, you owe it to your pilots to be around, attend trainings, and lead them consistently. I understand sometimes RL happens. Sometimes, it happens quite alot. That's fine. We'll shift fire as things come up.
-Communication. When RL does happen, and you'll be away for awhile, I expect Star Commanders to communicate that with me so we can plan accordingly. Mechwarriors are expected to communicate that with their Star Commanders.
-Accountability. I hold myself accountable for my Trinary's actions, and I will hold my Star Commander's accountable for their pilots actions. This is of the utmost importance. Handle problems at your level, but if you can't I expect you to bring problems to leadership. Keep in mind we have a Chain of Command. Mechwarriors -> Star Commanders -> Star Captain. If a Mechwarrior has a problem he cant handle, you bring it to you Star Commander. Star Commanders, if they can't handle a problem, bring it to me. Too easy.
In this Star I have many expectations of my pilots, but they are nothing you cant handle. I won't ask you to do anything I myself haven't done or would not be willing to do myself. I will not put up with racial, sexist, homophobic, or bigoted slurs in this unit. I have a zero tolerance policy for this kind of language. Also we will not belittle nor harass each other or any member in this unit, period.
Again, if you are interested in joining this Trinary, leave a reply, and we will discuss the matter further from there.
