With the new UAV skills, you can scout nearly a 400M circle, they can single handily win you games if lights put them in the right places.
The ADV, UAV is still very, very strong, at 300M but an additional 50 meters actually increases the size of the circle to 350 + sensor range modification you can scout unbelievable distances. One guy noted in a full build you can reach 1000M diameter with bap and targeting computers to further boost it.
With the advancement of the UAV alone I think LRMS with velocity built into the tree will see a huge increase in effectiveness. I am again reconfirming my initial push for all of you to make sure you pick up Radar deprivation Rank5 for 100% missile CHAFF. This skill alone can save you.
If your going to run LRMS I really encourage you to buff your UAV and run TAG and NARC. With both bonuses and Artemis you can murder people at 500 meters with direct line of sight.
The stromcrow with DUEL lrm 15's tag 4 or 5 small lasers and narc is maybe the strongest support mech in the game currently. You can really punish people on open maps from 600+ meters.
Assaults and heavies really don't feel more difficult to kill. Cents in particular are a nightmare now as are Cicadas with the survival buffs. Lights are still lights and can take a good lazer beating but PPCS and Gauss will put your ass in the dirt still.
Battlemaster and Grasshopper LAZZZER vomit mechs are even more dangerous, they see a nice buff with laser duration weapon trees at 15%.
I expect the viper in the machine gun build to be particularly lethal and difficult to take out. The Shadow Cat in a sniper build is even that much stronger.
I would recommend taking a look at mechs with jumpjets I feel like the only mech that can strait up fight a battle master is a 60 Alpha sniper or Marauder 2, My feelings are that BattleMasters will still dominate in every aspect of CW. You will see the return of Duel Gauss XL 65 ton heavies I think.
Clan in particular has a massive buff in splat mechs, you can really murder people now with well placed shots with no Artemis. Point blank is murder with SRM's IS splat mechs are still slow and bulky and really easy to kill.
The Bushwacker with 4 srm 4's and lb10X is a serious murder machine. The cent with 3 srm4's and 1 LB10X is also a seriously strong mech with survival quirks. Cents just don't die even with XL engines.
You may want to look at Clan SRM4's instead of 6's they are very, very strong. Streaks basically got a nerf with people getting even more health especially lights.
